English Accent

Design inspiration from “Across the Pond” reigns over a California remodel

To respectfully remodel this 1920s home, it was crucial to revisit its roots and follow the lead of its existing Tudor style elements. The goal was to make the original structure feel light and open while maintaining the quaintness of its character. Dark, choppy spaces were redefined by emphasizing natural light, fluidity, and openness while additional living space was attained with a new glass conservatory and folly-like guest cottage, bringing an idyllic English country ambiance into the ideal California climate.
