All in the Details
Thoughtful siting and meticulous attention to detail give this new build a been-there-forever feel
When our clients purchased a smaller Spanish style home in one of the area’s most well-established neighborhoods, they were sensitive to building a new home that would exude the same warmth—inside and out— despite being larger in size. Custom plaster, wood, and iron details make this new home feel like its proud predecessor. Multiple roof forms step up gracefully to the second story to deflect the square-footage. Its two wings wrap around a sun-filled backyard patio with the ground floor rooms all benefitting from the great outdoor privacy provided. Importantly, this arrangement also preserved in place the site’s two heritage trees.
